Celebrating Earth Day As We Join Eating Better

22 April 2021

Today is Earth Day and to mark this important moment, we’ve joined the Eating Better Alliance to celebrate food that’s good for people and planet.

Since 1970 Earth Day has been commemorated each year, with the aim to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement across the globe.

Eating Better is an alliance of over 60 civil society organisations, that advocate for less and better meat and dairy. Eating less and better meat and dairy is better for health, environment, animal welfare and social justice. You can find out more about the benefits of eating less and better here.

We look forward to working with Eating Better and partner organisations in our ambitions to make school food sustainable; for healthier children and planet. You can read a blog about our joining on the Eating Better website here
