THIS WEEK’S SCHOOL MEALS HERO – STEPHANIE WOOD
Our very own Stephanie Wood has been selected as this week’s School Meals Hero by the National School Meals Week.
LACA The School Food People is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2019, and so National School Meals Week is nominating 30 school meals heroes from different sectors in the industry who are dedicated to providing children with a healthy, nutritious and tasty school meal on a daily basis.
At School Food Matters, we are proud to have Stephanie feature as one of LACA’s 30 school meal heroes. The award recognises the drive, determination and passion put into everything we do, including campaigning and policy development, as well as delivering food education programmes in schools.
We also feel honoured to sit amongst many inspiring people and organisations, who are all striving to make positive changes to school meals. You can find out more about the amazing things the other School Meals Heroes are doing here. And a final congratulations to Stephanie!
