Sugar Rush

9 September 2015

At SFM we've been enjoying Jamie O's #sugarrush, watching the number of signatures on the petition to introduce a tax on sugary drinks increase by 1000s every day.

Whilst we wait for the UK government to play its part restaurants, led by the Jamie Oliver Group, will be putting a levy on soft drinks with added sugar. The money raised will be paid into the Children's Health Fund to support programmes aimed at improving children's health and food education. SFM is a proud member of the Children's Health Fund board which will oversee the allocation of grants. Read the petition here.
