Schools to Market gets cooking!
Our master classes in the art of jam and chutney making got off to a flying start with the team at Whole Foods stirring up some jammy treats at St Thomas More Language College in Chelsea.
Local primary schools joined year 7s to learn how to knock up a quick strawberry jam using a magic ingredient - chia seeds. The children loved watching the chia turn from seed to sticky jamminess to make a delicious jam without sugar! You can find a chia seed jam recipe here and come along and sample some on Schools to Market Day Wednesday 23 September.

This week is National School Meals Week (NSMW), celebrating everything that is great about school food.
This year, we are supporting schools in the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Brent, Enfield, Islington, Camden and Greenwich.
We are looking for two new people to join our School Food Matters team and help us achieve our mission to ensure that every child enjoys fresh sustainable food at school and understands where their food comes from.
