Roast Dinner Day 2017

15 November 2017

Today schools and nurseries across the country are opening their doors to parents, grandparents and members of their local community and enjoying a freshly prepared, locally sourced roast dinner together.

Held during National School Meals Week, the 8th annual Food for Life Roast Dinner Day recognises the dedicated, hard-working and talented school cooks who serve our children with nutritious, freshly prepared and locally sourced school dinners.

Jeanette Orrey, co-founder of Food for Life and founder of Roast Dinner Day said "Roast Dinner Day is all about celebrating fantastic school catering staff as well as celebrating how far we've come in improving school meals across the country."

Don't forget to share your photos using the hashtag #RoastDinnerDay on Facebook and Twitter.
