Our friends at Children's Food Trust have just published recommendations for government ahead of the forthcoming childhood obesity strategy.
The recommendations include mandatory school food standards across all schools, robust evaluation of the Universal Infant Free School Meals policy and continued investment in school kitchens and dining rooms - sound familiar?
The report, which follows the child from home, through early years to school and in the wider world, echoes the thoughts of Jamie Oliver, Children's Food Campaign, Food for Life and most recently Public Health England, creating one loud voice in support of children's health.
In other news ...
Many food campaigners were feeling a little anxious about the future of universal infant free school meals with government finances being stretched to the limit and a looming spending review.
A campaign victory. The Government has announced it will continue to fund free school meals over the summer holidays.
