Free school meal voucher scheme

14 April 2020

Reports have emerged that families are still struggling to access the National Voucher Scheme.

Delays in the supply system have meant many families are still waiting for the code needed to access the weekly £15 voucher. This was made even more difficult when the Edenred website temporarily went offline for upgrades over the Easter bank holiday weekend
The Edenred website is now back online and we are grateful to those working tirelessly at the Department for Education (DfE) to ensure families are supported during this time. However, delays like this highlight the importance of clear and easily accessible information for schools and parents.
A reminder: We are holding a free webinar this Friday 17 April (from 11-12.30).
Please join us as this will be a great opportunity to hear more about the new government voucher scheme and learn about what protections are in place for school food caterers. You can register here.
