Farmvention competition for schools
The National Farmers' Union has launched Farmvention, a competition designed to help pupils apply their STEM learning to the real world and support teachers to deliver the science curriculum with easy-to-follow classroom resources.
There are three different challenges that can be entered by individual children or in teams and are designed to make students think about the day to day issues faced by farmers and growers in England and Wales. Each challenge is supported by curriculum-linked resources created in partnership with the Association for Science Education (ASE).
