Covid Community Campaign

16 December 2020

A campaign to drive much-needed support to food charities and local food hubs this winter has been launched by London Councils, the Mayor of London and leading food poverty charities.

It aims to build on the strong community spirit seen so far during the coronavirus pandemic and is asking the public, businesses, community and faith groups to give what they can to support fellow Londoners.

The website provides a list of places offering local support in each London Borough as well as where you can donate locally.

Proceeds raised from the Covid Community Campaign will be shared between the campaigns charity partners - FareShare, The Trussell Trust, Magic Breakfast and Social Bite - to distribute London-wide. One-fifth of proceeds will also go to local charities based in each participating council’s area.
