Buses and trains are packed to the rafters? Still dark at 6am? Summer is officially over but at SFM we're looking forward to a new term full of activities to make you happy that autumn is here.
Whilst we're trying to keep up with developments at Westminster, we thought we'd focus on things we can control and that's our wonderful food education programmes.
This month we'll be introducing teachers to the value of keeping bees in school as part of our Honey Bee Programme with Whole Kid Foundation. And in October, we'll be welcoming our Young Marketeers back to Borough Market to sell their autumn veg to raise funds for FareShare.
Fabulous chefs continue to support our quest to inspire the next generation of cooks and this month Chantelle Nicholson, chef patron at Tredwells Covent Garden, will be opening her kitchen to GCSE students from one of our member schools.

This summer we partnered with Belazu Foundation to deliver our Holiday Food and Fun Club, aimed to tackle the issue of childhood hunger during the summer holidays.
