Capital Funding to support free meals

The detail has just come through from the DfE on capital funding to support the roll out of universal infant free school meals (UIFSM).
The allocation of the funding has been based on infant pupil numbers from the January 2013 census.
The capital funding will be paid to local authorities who will then decide how best to target its share of the £150 million for expanding and improving facilities at individual schools.
